One more day closer

Typing with thumbs and so without edits i was thinking how i keep saying one more day everyday just…

One more day and then I’ll be done. Just One more day and I’ve Been saying this for the past six months now. One more day and then it will be over for good. One more day and I’ll be done with three novels that I’ve been working on for five or six years now. Just One more day of Working bagging groceries and three or four hours on the books. One more day and again I said it today. One more day and then what. One more day and Today has just been one more day and i edited four thousand words and so One more day and Ive done this as much as i can and it isnt done and so i’ll need one more day and then what. Just One more day and Everything will happen when it Is time, and just one more day that im happy being a writer working on my books that will one day be the best i can make them. Just One day at a time and I’ve become a better writer and person and worker and still that’s the reason why i need one more day and why there’s another month of struggling to pay rent at a place that has become my home. Just one more day and now the day is done and The desk Is dirty and i am tired and feeling tired is good for a person like me. But just One more day of the punch in and work and One more day and tap tap tap. Just One more day living a life and One more day and the day is done and The fan spins and Summer is here and just one more day and The birds are getting ready for bed and the green at nightfall is lucid and The screaming neighbors have stopped. Just one more day and now The two hearted is cracked and so I’ll sit on the stoop and im without edit just thinking about one more day and maybe then I’ll be done. Just one more day and I’ll then get back to editing other voices and think about a better paying job and maybe moving. Just one more day and then I’ll get back to making books and reading and walking and being me just…

One more day and everything has its place in time and…

One more day and there’s no rush because I know there will be one more day until there isn’t.
