Although I never met him, he’s been one of my mentors. The reason I wanted to run a bookstore, part of the reason I live in the America I live in. (the good, honest, poetic, outspoken, action, parts) So pour one out, he lived a hell of a life. Check out his Novel, Little Boy, one of the best books published in the last decade. 101.
