I always wondered why the film bombed so bad, it was ok, i liked it but…go to about the seven minute mark in the Carolyn interview and she explains why a 25 million dollar movie made 700 thousand. They just did not listen or care about the source material. Or if they did what she says, they didn’t take it very serious. Weird. She’s right though, when you give somebody a book to borrow and they forget it when they leave, and they’re making a movie about your life, that is probably a bad sign.

Ah you needed “Howl” in here ;) truly a pleasure to stumble upon as beat poetry and poets are some of my favorite thing in the world, especially Ginsberg. Wonderful
