Short Prose Section Unknown Publisher

I sent this piece to this group called the Paperback Collective (I believe they are based out of Australia, but I could be wrong) and I do this every once in a while and then sometimes this happens: Anyway, I came across that they actually published some of my words and I didn’t even know it. But I like what I wrote because it was a good moment writing it.
